The state government has finally sent the Manisha murder case for CBI investigation.

CM Nayab Saini had announced a CBI investigation on August 20, following the demand from the family.

However, the CBI is yet to register the case.

Manisha, a playschool teacher, went missing from her house in Loharu, Bhiwani, on August 11. The next day, the police registered a missing persons case. On August 13, her body was found near the Singhani Canal.

Following the demand from family members, three post-mortem examinations of the body were conducted. She was cremated on August 21.
