A man’s body was found from Dulhera minor canal near Karor village in Rohtak district on Saturday. The hands and feet of the deceased were tied with a rope. The deceased has been identified as Deepak (32), an employee of the Delhi Jal Board. He had left for Sampla town on Friday to take an exam. His family got a call, informing them that he had been kidnapped. The kidnappers allegedly sought Rs 5 lakh for his release. The family had also lodged a complaint at Asauda police station in Jhajjar district.— TNS
