The Commissioner of Municipal Corporation (MC) Gurugram, Ashok Kumar Garg, has instructed civic body officials to promptly repair roads, address sewerage issues and ensure regular cleaning and garbage collection in Ardee City.

Garg, accompanied by a team of officials, visited the area on Monday to assess the ongoing civic problems. He met Praveen Yadav, President of the Residents Welfare Association (RWA), Chaitali Mandotra, General Secretary, and other local residents to hear their concerns.

Yadav highlighted the recurring issue of sewerage overflow and the poor condition of roads, while Mandotra emphasised the need for a regular and efficient road cleaning system, along with timely door-to-door garbage collection.

“For the past few days, the sweeping of roads and garbage collection has been irregular, leading to unsanitary conditions that pose health risks,” Mandotra told the Commissioner.

Residents also complained that the local MCG officials were unresponsive to their complaints and called for accountability to address the unsanitary conditions in their respective areas.
