A team from the Municipal Corporation Yamunanagar-Jagadhri (MCYJ) has caught 60 stray cattle from the twin cities over the past 10 days as part of an ongoing special drive.

Municipal Commissioner Ayush Sinha said the civic body had been making consistent efforts to make both Yamunanagar and Jagadhri free from stray cattle. “In the last 10 days, 60 stray cattle were caught and sent to gaushalas,” he stated.

Sinha said separate teams wereformed in both zones of the MCYJ. These teams are led by Chief Sanitary Inspectors Harjeet Singh in zone-I and Sunil Dutt in zone-II.
