Meanwhile, taking cognisance of the matter, the Chairman of the Haryana State Commission for Safai Karamcharis, Krishan Kumar, and Mayor Ram Avtar Valmiki visited the campus this evening.

On Sunday, when the supervisors asked the sanitation workers to speed up the cleanliness work at the sports complex in view of the Governor's visit, some workers expressed their inability to work fast, stating that they were on their period.

Asked on whose directions they were doing so, one of the supervisors named an assistant registrar. The complainants have sought strict legal action against the supervisors as well as the assistant registrar.
