The authorities of Maharshi Dayanand University (MDU), Rohtak, have provided the university students the facility to pursue two degrees simultaneously.

The new prospectus of the Centre for Distance and Online Education (CDOE) of the university was released by MDU Vice-Chancellor Prof Rajbir Singh, Registrar Dr Krishan Kant and other officials of the university today.

With this, admissions have started in MDU's CDOE in Open and Distance Learning (ODL) and Online (OL) modes for undergraduate (UG), postgraduate (PG) and certificate courses in which students can apply online for admission till August 31 without late fee.

The Vice-Chancellor said in the digital era, distance and online education have become a powerful medium of quality and accessible education. He called upon the students to take advantage of this multiple choice education system.

He stated that this system of dual degree would not only give more opportunities to the students but will also open new possibilities in their career prospects.

The CDOE Director, Prof Gulshan Lal Taneja, while sharing the details of various courses, said these courses have been prepared in accordance with the New Education Policy (NEP 2020) so that the students can get quality and skill-based education as per their convenience.

Registrar Dr Krishan Kant described this initiative of the CDOE as an important part of the digital and inclusive education policy of the university.
