Minister: Under PM Modi’s leadership, country developed distinct global identity

He was speaking at the inauguration of a three-day exhibition at the Kaithal Mini-Secretariat on Thursday.
Marking 11 years of the Central Government, he talked about initiatives undertaken under the Sankalp Se Sidhi campaign.
“India is now the world’s fourth-largest economy, and through initiatives like Make in India, the country is becoming self-reliant in sectors like defence and electronics. The abrogation of Article 370, the construction of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, and military operations like Operation Sindoor are some of the government’s bold and historic steps,” he said.
Interacting with mediapersons, Panwar said the Centre was commitment to the welfare of people. He also talked about the Ayushman Bharat Scheme, Ujjwala Yojana, PM Kisan Samman Nidhi and PM Fasal Bima Yojana.
He said metro services had been started in 23 cities across the country.
The number of airports had increased to 160 in 2025 from 74 in 2014, he added.
In the past 11 years, 54,917 km highways and 3.96 lakh km rural roads had been added to the country’s road infrastructure, he said, adding that initiatives such as digital payments, solar rooftops and expansion of IITs, AIIMS and other universities were transforming India.
