Local Congress MLA Chiranjeev Rao said the issue of chemical-mixed water flowing from Rajasthan’s Bhiwadi town to Dharuhera here would be resolved permanently. Similarly, untreated water accumulated in the Masani Barrage area will be dumped in Drain number 8 if the Congress comes to power in the state.

Rao made these promises while addressing a gathering after opening his poll office in Dharuhera industrial town on Sunday. He also promised to build a bus stand and a 100-bed hospital in Dharuhera.

“The herbal park of Dharuhera is in a bad shape. People are facing many other problems in Dharuhera as the BJP government did not make any effort to resolve these while many development projects were executed in Dharuhera when my father Capt Ajay Singh Yadav was the minister in the then Congress government. The BJP government has not laid even a single brick in the Dharuhera area in the past 10 years,” he said.
