MLA listens to public complaints during tour in Adampur segment

Congress MLA from Adampur Chander Prakash toured several villages in the Adampur Assembly segment and heard their concerns during his visit to the Adampur Assembly segment.

The MLA interacted with locals at the PWD rest house and discussed progress of ongoing projects with officials of the PWD, Public Health Engineering, Marketing Board etc.

The MLA visited Adampur grain market, Adampur, Siswal, Bagla, Mohabbatpur Dhani, Modakheda, Ghudsala, Telnawali, Kutiyawali, Chaudharywali and Bandaheri villages. Residents welcomed him warmly, presenting him with turbans, garlands and shawls. He listened to various issues raised by villagers. These were mostly related to electricity, water supply, pensions and road repairs.

Chander Prakash assured them that he would take up the problems with the higher authorities. “The support and trust shown by the people of Adampur to me during the elections is unforgettable. With the collective efforts of all 36 biradari, I have been given this responsibility and I am committed to the development of the region,” he said.

The MLA also discussed demands with residents and issues including the upgrade of Adampur Mandi to subdivision and Balsamand sub-tehsil to tehsil. He stressed that these upgrades would ease administrative work for the people in the Assembly segment.

Highlighting the issue of the recent hailstorm, the Congress leader told the residents that he had urged the government to conduct surveys and provide compensation for damaged crops. “I will leave no stone unturned to secure the rights and development of Adampur,” he said.
