The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) today held a multi-agency mock drill on the premises of Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram Thermal Power Plant, situated in Pansara village of Yamunanagar district to deal with the earthquake disaster.

The aim of the drill was to evaluate the preparedness for quick and coordinated response in case of disaster.Assistant Commandant of CISF, Tikam Singh Chauhan said the mock drill was organised from 11 am to 12.30 pm, in which about 110 participants from various agencies took part.

He said that the personnel of Central Industrial Security Force, employees of Haryana Power Generation Corporation Limited (HPGCL), Civil Defence, medical team, team of Fire and Emergency Services, State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) and local administration actively participated in the exercise.
