Conditions are favourable for advance of the Southwest Monsoon into some parts of Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh, and entire Delhi in the subsequent 48-hours, June 30-July 1, the IMD today said.

The weather office said conditions are favourable for further advance of monsoon into remaining parts of Bihar, some more parts of Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmiri during the next 24-hours.

“Conditions would continue to become favourable for its further advance into remaining parts of Arabian Sea and Gujarat, some parts of Rajasthan, remaining parts Madhya Pradesh, entire Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, and Jammu and Kashmir, some parts of Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh, and entire Delhi during subsequent 48-hours,” the IMD added.
