MSMEs provide platform for innovation, job-creation: MLA

He highlighted that the government is running several schemes for MSMEs, ensuring that every entrepreneur benefits from them and contributes to India’s self-reliance.
He was speaking as the chief guest at an event organised on the occasion of International MSME Day on the theme ‘Ek Din MSME Ke Naam’ by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), Karnal.
MLA Anand said, “To realise the dream of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Atmanirbhar Bharat, it is crucial that the youth move towards self-employment and entrepreneurship.”
He added that under the leadership of PM Modi, the Government of India has launched multiple initiatives to support the MSME sector, focusing on financial aid, technological advancement, skill development and better market access. “MSMEs provide a platform for innovation and experimentation with new ideas and products, significantly contributing to job creation and economic decentralisation,” he said.
MLA Anand further stated that MSMEs play a vital role in reducing unemployment, particularly by generating employment in rural and semi-urban areas. He called on the youth to make use of government schemes and adopt entrepreneurship as a pathway to both personal success and national development.
The event was also attended by several distinguished guests, including Anuj Bansal, Chairman of ICAI Karnal, Sarthak Mittal, Sahil Goyal, Govind Gupta, Manju Lata, Vivek Chauhan and others.
