Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar said that the government is making efforts to make registries only on the basis of property ID in urban areas. Sonipat and Karnal districts have been taken up in the first phase. With the implementation of this system, the registries will be conducted solely based on the property ID. The Chief Minister was replying to a question during the Question Hour on the second day of the Budget session of the state Vidhan Sabha here today.
Khattar said that previously, revenue records categorised areas into urban areas, rural areas, and an ambiguous “other” category. While local bodies managed property records in the urban areas and respective departments handled the rural areas, the “other” category created loopholes. Some individuals exploited this ambiguity to facilitate improper registries. However, the current government has eliminated this category, leading to complications for some individuals.
Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala said that if there have been any irregularities in the registration of properties or illegal transactions in the state, details of such should be provided. The government will investigate the matter and take action against those found guilty.
Minister of Higher Education Mool Chand Sharma said that the government has already released a non-recurring grant of Rs 15 crore for the State Institute of Advanced Studies in Teacher Education (SIASTE) in Jhajjar. At present, along with a principal and director, 19 teaching staff and 20 non-teaching employees are working in the institution and out of the sanctioned 400 seats, a total of 359 students are enrolled in the institution.
Education Minister Kanwar Pal Gujjar stated that a sum of about Rs 5 crore has been released for the construction of a building at Shaheed Dhanpat Singh Government Senior Secondary School, Sawai Pana, in village Kalinga, of Bawani Khera.
Health and Family Welfare Minister Anil Vij said, “In the previous session, I had stated that we will conduct mapping related to health facilities, and we have completed the mapping, making Haryana the first state in the country to map health facilities. In this mapping, information regarding the gaps, the required staff, the necessary equipment, and all other details have been made available. It has been decided to fulfil the gaps identified in this mapping within 3 years.”
While providing information, he said that according to this mapping, 164 Community Health Centres, 671 Primary Health Centres, 186 Urban Primary Health Centres, and 4024 SHCs are required. He said that we have demanded a budget of Rs 500 crore for this in this session and it is hoped that it will be passed.
Printing and Stationery Minister Sandeep Singh said the construction work of the sports stadium building at Silana village of Jhajjar district has been completed. In addition, 30 per cent work on various grounds has been completed.
