The VC instructed the officials concerned to get the laboratories renovated and other problems of the students resolved on priority. He visited the chemical, electrical, architecture, computer science engineering, biomedical and biotechnology departments. He told the Estate Officer that desks and benches must be installed in the departments on Saturday and Sunday as per the number of students.

The VC said all faulty equipment which were not working properly must be repaired immediately. He told them if there was a need for new equipment, proposals must be made and sent to him, so that researchers didn’t have to face any problems. He said the proposals should also be sent for departments whose laboratories require air conditioning equipment, too. While giving directions to the officers, the VC said exhaust fans must be installed wherever required. He said he would visit again in 15 days to check the progress. — TNS
