'My family and I are safe': Elvish on Instagram

At around 5.25 am on Sunday, three shooters, who were on a bike, fired on the ground and first floor of his five-storey house. The incident was captured in a CCTV camera, which showed the masked attackers were wearing helmets. The bullets hit the balcony, walls, windows and doors of the house. Elvish was not at home when the incident took place. His mother Sushma, father Ram Avatar Yadav, a caretaker and some family members were inside the house at the time.
Bhau gang issued a post on the Internet on Sunday afternoon and took responsibility, saying it had reacted to the promotion of a betting app by Elvish.
A day after the firing, Elvish wrote on Instagram in a post with background song 'Jako rakhe Saiyan'. “I would like to extend my sincere gratitude for your good wishes. My family and I are safe and well. Your kind thoughts and concern are truly appreciated. Thank you”, read the post.
The police have not been able to identify the shooters so far. An FIR has been registered at Sector 56 police station. “A probe is underway. The route of the shooters is being traced through CCTV cameras installed on the roads around the spot. They will be arrested soon,” said the spokesperson of the Gurugram police.
