The BJP has completed a sprawling new party office in Sirsa’s upscale Sector 20, marking a significant leap ahead of traditional regional heavyweights like the INLD and Congress.

Spread across 2,200 square yards, the state-of-the-art building will be virtually inaugurated by BJP national president JP Nadda on July 6, alongside newly built party offices in Jhajjar and Kurukshetra. Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini is also scheduled to attend the event online.

“Preparations are complete, and the virtual inauguration will take place as scheduled on July 6,” said Yatindra Singh Advocate, BJP’s Sirsa district president.

This is the BJP’s first permanent office in Sirsa, a far cry from its earlier modest presence in F Block. The new office reflects the party’s growing grassroots focus and its bid to strengthen district-level infrastructure ahead of future polls.

In its heyday, the Congress had the largest party office in Sirsa, followed by the INLD, which constructed a sizeable facility on Dabwali Road during its time in government. However, the split within the INLD and the emergence of JJP led to the closure of its main office, now converted into a hospital.

Today, the INLD operates from Abhay Chautala’s residence, while the JJP functions from Chautala House on Barnala Road. The Congress office on Begu Road remains largely dormant, even rarely visited by sitting MLA Gokul Setia.

In contrast, the BJP’s new facility is fully equipped and professionally designed. Located opposite Global Space and near the Women’s Police Station, it include air-conditioned deluxe rooms, dedicated offices for the district president, secretaries and media coordinators, a media conference hall, computer operator’s station and a large multipurpose hall on the first floor.
