The Indian Navy has felicitated a veteran who turned 100 today. Sardar Sujan Singh, who lives in Karnal, was felicitated by a team of Indian Navy personnel and naval veterans. He was presented an appreciation letter, a crest of the Chief of Naval Staff and a memento.

Indian Navy Chief Admiral Hari Kumar spoke to the veteran through video call. Sardar Sujan Singh had joined the Navy in August 1945 and retired in August 1968. He did sea service for 16 years of his 23-year tenure.
