The state government has decided to give new licences keeping in mind the interest of wood-based industries. An official spokesperson said the government had invited online applications for grant of new licences from December 15, 2021 to January 15, 2022. Applicants can apply online on portal www.haryanaforest.gov.in. — TNS

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
