Staff of the Town and Country Planning Department demolished five dhabas near Gharaunda along National Highway-44 on Monday for not having change of land use (CLU) certificate.

DTP Vikram Kumar said they had issued notices to dhaba owners for getting the CLU certificate, but they did not do so, following which a demolition drive was initiated on Monday. TNS
