The main market, being situated on the main road, has very little parking space. The power corporation has put up a transformer on the main turning point and the Public Health Department has dug up a lot of space to lay sewerage pipes, which has again consumed a lot of space. Shopkeepers and customers have left with no choice but to park their vehicles in front of shops, which creates traffic jam throughout the day. The nagar parishad should identify parking space nearby to ease the situation.

Slow pace of work leads to traffic jam

Slow pace of work on Ambala Cantt road is causing traffic jam. Last date to complete the entire project was September 30, 2021. It is late by one year causing inconvenience to senior citizens and daily commuters. Contractors must be punished for this gross negligence and in-ordinate delay. The authorities must wake up and speed up the work and finish it as early as possible

Subhash Tandan, Ambala Cantt
