In the Hisar espionage case, the police have stated that no evidence has emerged so far indicating that YouTuber Jyoti Malhotra had access to any classified, sensitive, or defence-related information.

SP Shashank Kumar Sawan said here today that though she was in contact with some Pakistan intelligence officers (PIOs), despite being aware of their identity, there was no evidence so far to indicate her contact with a terrorist organisation.

The SP said she would be produced in the court tomorrow on the completion of her five-day police custody. A Kurukshetra-based visa service provider, Harkirat, had also been brought in for questioning, and two mobile phones had been seized from his possession. However, he had not been arrested.

The SP said forensic analysis of the seized devices was underway, and the report was awaited. The Central intelligence agencies had also questioned her, but had not taken her into custody.

The SP has, meanwhile, urged the media to rely only on official statements and not spread unverified claims.
