The Sonepat administration has served a show-cause notice to Sukhdev Dhaba and Garam Dharam Dhaba in Murthal on National Highway-44 after 75 workers were found Covid-positive.

A team led by Deputy Commissioner (DC) Shyam Lal Poonia visited the dhabas this evening to take stock of the situation. They directed the dhaba operators to maintain customers’ registers.

The Haryana Human Rights Commission on Friday sought a detailed action taken report from the Sonepat DC and Civil Surgeon.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
