Now, Badli MLA gets threat
Gurugram, July 9
Threats to Haryana MLAs by gangsters continued unchecked as another MLA has got a threat.
Five men barged into the Pataudi house of Badli’s Congress MLA Kuldeep Vats on Friday when he was not present at his house. They roughed up his cook and threatened to set the MLA right like Moosewala.
Following the complaint of the cook, an FIR has been registered against five unidentified persons at Pataudi police station. According to a complaint filed by cook Rajiv Kumar, it was around 2 pm on Friday that the miscreants barged into the house when he was alone there. “All five of them were carrying arms. They manhandled me and asked where the MLA was. I told them he was not here. They said that I should warn the MLA that he should not make any comments about gangsters or he will face the fate of Moosewala,” Rajiv said in his complaint. The accused allegedly also pulled out a gun to threaten Rajiv.
The Gurugram police issued an official statement late in the evening and said that an FIR has been registered and a probe is on.
Despite several attempts, Badli’s MLA Kuldeep Vats did not respond to calls made to him.
