Ensure specialists 24X7: DC to hospital

n DC Dhirendra Khadgata has asked the authorities of Adesh Medical College in Shahabad to ensure that doctors and specialists are available on the campus round the clock

n He said: “The medical college is an exclusive Covid tertiary care centre. It has been seen that doctors, especially specialists, are not regular in their duties. No ENT specialist was available on April 12 to take the swab of a patient for samples”

n “The Medical Superintendent has been directed to instruct all doctors, not to leave station without prior permission from the Shahabad SDM and remain on the campus. Any failure in performance of duty comes with punishment under Section 56 of the Disaster Management Act,” the DC added
