The Haryana Government today increased pensions under various security schemes, including old-age pension, from Rs 2,250 to Rs 2,500 per month.

A decision to this effect was taken at a meeting of the state Cabinet that met under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar. The increase would be effective from April 1, 2021.

Besides old-age pension, benefits have also been hiked under various other social security schemes, including Widows and Destitute Women Scheme, Handicapped Persons Scheme, Ladli Social Security Allowance Scheme, Haryana Allowance to Dwarfs Scheme and Haryana Allowance to Eunuchs Scheme.
