Olympian bronze medalist Sarabjot Singh along with his coach Abhishek Rana visited Gurukul, Kurukshetra, on Tuesday. The Governor of Gujarat and patron of Gurukul, Kurukshetra, Acharya Devvrat, welcomed the medallist and interacted with them. Sarabjot Singh shared his moments of Olympics journey with the students of Gurukul. He told the students that his journey took him from a ‘hobby shooter’ to winning a bronze medal in Paris Olympic 2024. He further said his passion for shooting began during his childhood. Sharing his experiences with the students he told them that it was his perseverance, consistency and resilience that paid him off culminating in a bronze medal at the Paris Olympics. He also added that his goal was to win a gold medal for the country in next the Olympics. On the occasion, Acharya Devvrat stated that Gurukul provided all modern facilities and renowned coaches for the students to excel in sports.
