The anti-narcotics cell of the Kurukshetra police arrested a man for supplying intoxicating tablets to a drug peddler in Kurukshetra. The accused was identified as Amrik Singh, a resident of Kurukshetra.

As per a police spokesman, a team of ANC had arrested Devi Dayal, a resident of Kurukshetra, and recovered 5,700 intoxicating tablets from his possession. During further investigation, the ANC arrested Amrik for supplying the tablets to Devi. He was sent to a three-day police remand.
