One booked for slapping woman at police station in Yamunanagar district

The woman had filed a complaint of sexual abuse at the police station. The incident took place when the woman went to the police station in connection with her complaint.
On the victim’s complaint, a case was registered against two persons identified as Jagmal and Lal Singh under Sections 115, 126, 3 (5), 351 (2) and 79 of the BNS at the Yamunanagar city police station.
The complainant told the police that her known person Atar Singh of Yamunanagar sent obscene messages and videos on her mobile phone.
The woman said she lodged a complaint against Atar Singh in connection with this issue. The victim said she, along with her husband, went to the police station regarding the complaint.
“Atar Singh, his known persons Jagmal and Lal Singh were already present at the police station. In the gallery of the police station, Jagmal entered into argument with me and slapped me,” reads the FIR which was registered on the basis of victim’s complaint.
The woman also alleged that Jagmal and Lal Singh threatened to kill her if she didn’t withdraw her complaint against Attar Singh.
