The Gurugram police have arrested a man for attacking his wife with a knife. The weapon has been recovered from him.

The accused has been identified as Lalit Bhardwaj, a resident of Thakurdwara in Sector 16A of Faridabad.

In her complaint, the woman said she was working with a private firm while her husband was unemployed. On April 6, a brawl broke out between the two and her husband attacked her with a knife, leaving her injured. He then ran away after threatening to kill her.

Following the complaint, an FIR was registered at the Sector 5 police station.

“We are questioning Lalit,” said a spokesperson for the Gurugram police.
