Online NOC facility launched for legal colonies outside municipal areas in Sirsa district

The District Town Planner (DTP) department has enabled an online system to make the process transparent and hassle-free.
According to District Town Planner Karamvir Jhajhria, citizens can now apply for NOCs through the Town and Country Planning Department’s official website https://tcpharyana.gov.in.
Along with the application process, the website also provides complete details of all legal colonies in the district, including their maps, boundaries, and khasra numbers.
Applicants need to register on the portal through the ‘New User - Register Here’ option under the e-governance menu, and then log in to submit details for NOC applications.
Jhajhria informed that currently 22 colonies in different towns of Sirsa district are valid and regularized. These include Balaji Colony, Rahmat Colony, Sukhchain Colony, and Kangnpur Colony in Sirsa; Janata Colony, Adarsh Nagar, Bhai Kanhiya Colony, Shaheed Bhagat Singh Colony, Model Town, Guru Nanak Colony, Sunder Nagar, and Peer Colony in Ellenabad; Shri Guru Teg Bahadur Ji Nagar Colony in Dabwali; Gobindpura Colony in Rania; and others.
He said that for the sale or purchase of plots, building plan approvals, and the issuance of occupancy certificates in these colonies, NOCs can be obtained online. The department will issue NOCs within the stipulated timeframe after applications are received. Development charges will be collected as per norms: 8 percent of the collector rate for vacant plots, and 5 per cent for regularised areas. In the case of commercial components exceeding the permissible limit by more than four percent, the rates will be charged three times higher.
For detailed maps and boundaries of these colonies, residents can visit the website, go to the “Data Download” menu, select “Regularized Colonies”, choose the district, and then click on the “View” option to access colony-wise information.
Jhajhria said the facility is expected to provide relief to property owners and buyers by ensuring a smooth and transparent system while also helping the department maintain proper records of legal colonies in the district.
