The Haryana Government has issued instructions to all administrative secretaries regarding the handling of matters, complaints, source reports, and inquiry reports referred by the Vigilance Department. These documents must be returned with their respective comments or reports to the Vigilance Department.

A letter issued by the Chief Secretary said some administrative departments were not taking the instruction seriously, often responding only by stating that they had filed the matter at their own level instead of providing the required comments or reports. This non-compliance with the directive had been regarded with seriousness by the government.

As a result, it has been mandated that all administrative secretaries ensure strict adherence to these instructions for all matters, complaints, source reports, and inquiry reports referred by the Vigilance Department to their respective administrative departments.
