An FIR has been registered against the alleged vehicle-lifter at the SGM Nagar police station. He was produced in a city court today and sent to judicial custody.

According to the police, Ravi, a resident of NIT 3 area of Faridabad, used to work as the driver of a school van. On returning from duty, he had parked the van at Kalyanpuri Chowk near his house on Tuesday night. When he went to clean his van the next morning, he saw that the side lock of the vehicle was broken. He was shocked to see an unidentified man lying in an unconscious state inside the van.

He called the police but the man continued sleeping without any fear. Finally, he was woken up by the police and arrested. Drugs were also recovered from his possession.
