Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini today urged traders to ensure that the full benefits of the Central Government's reduced GST rates are passed on to consumers. He also asked them to participate in promoting the GST Bachat Utsav, which aimed to make goods and services more affordable. He said the initiative would boost trade and enable consumers to purchase essential items at lower prices. Cheap prices, growing trade, and a strong economy were the core spirit of the Bachat Utsav, he said.

Saini also urged the traders to focus on the production and promotion of indigenous products. By prioritising local goods, businesses could strengthen both domestic industry and the state and national economy.
