The BJP candidate from Pehowa, Kawaljeet Singh Ajrana, today announced that he has surrendered the party ticket. Ajrana said the party workers, including the Sikh community leaders, were not happy, and they opposed his candidature. He said, “The BJP showed faith in me, but with a heavy heart, I have told the party high command that I will not contest the election from Pehowa. I am a party worker and will support whoever the party chooses as its candidate from here.”
