PGIMS Rohtak observes Cancer Awareness Day

The exhibition aimed to educate patients, caregivers and visitors about cancer prevention, early detection and advances in treatment.
Students from the department presented a series of informative and visually engaging posters on lifestyle modification, the importance of screening, new developments in radiation therapy and holistic palliative care. The exhibits translated complex medical information into accessible insights for the public.
Vice-Chancellor Dr HK Aggarwal and PGIMS Director Dr SK Singhal appreciated the students’ efforts and interacted with them. The event was held under the guidance of Dr Ashok Chauhan, Head of the Department of Radiation Oncology and Dean Academics, who emphasised the importance of awareness and timely intervention.
Dr Rakesh Dhankar, Dr Rajeev Atri, Dr Paramjeet Kaur, Dr Abhishek Soni, Dr Shailley, Dr Agrima, Dr NP Patel and Dr N Bala were among those present.
