Panchkula, July 10

After the surfacing of corruption charge in the Haryana State Pharmacy Council, the website of the council has also not been functioning for the past three days, causing problems to hundreds of applicants as they are not getting updates regarding their certificates.

Sources said the applications of hundreds of applicants were pending with the council, including cases of fresh registration and renewal. The council website provides information about the status of their applications. After the surfacing of the alleged corruption, there was now suspicion over the closure of the website as the registration certificates had been issued to many such applicants by the suspended council president and registrar, the sources added.

Sources said president Dhanesh Adalkha used to repeatedly threaten applicants by saying that they had studied from outside Haryana and that their degrees were fake, hence the registration would not take place in Haryana, whereas he himself cleared the registration of hundreds of candidates who had studied from outside the state.
