Prime Minister Narendra Modi today virtually inaugurated four development projects regarding the construction of guest house, health centre, and quarters for Type III and Type V staff at Central University of Haryana (CUH).
In his address, the PM said these projects would pave the way for making India a developed country.
Vice-Chancellor Professor Tankeswar Kumar said a programme was also organised on the university premises for the inauguration and PM’s address. MP from Bhiwani-Mahendragarh, Dharambir Singh, was present as the chief guest on the occasion.
“The four projects have been executed at a total cost of Rs 32.19 crore. In this series, the process to build a library and an auditorium with a seating capacity of 1,200 persons has been initiated,” said the VC. Speaking on the occasion, Dharambir said under the leadership of the PM Modi, the progress was being made on all fronts, including education, health and infrastructure. Owing to this, India was rapidly moving towards becoming a developed country, he added.
