PM Narendra Modi today met CM Nayab Singh Saini at his residence in Delhi to discuss the schemes being implemented in Haryana.

The Prime Minister had a detailed discussion with the Chief Minister about the ‘Agniveers’ and the welfare schemes run by both the state and Central governments.

After meeting the Prime Minister, Saini said significant benefits had been decided for Agniveers by the state government. These include a 10 percent horizontal reservation in government job recruitment, age relaxation of five and three years as per rules, and interest-free loan of up to Rs 5 lakh for employment. The Chief Minister said the Prime Minister was focused on the Agniveer scheme. If any industry in Haryana hires an Agniveer, the state will give that institution a rebate of Rs 60,000.
