He extended a warm welcome to retired members, noting that the bond between the bank and its former employees was “not merely official, but emotional and deeply rooted”. He said each retired member carried invaluable experience of 35–40 years, and the primary aim of the PNB ‘Snehanjali’ initiative was to ensure that no retiree faced any difficulty related to banking services.

He added that the bank had launched “PNB Snehanjali, an expression of our affection and respect towards retired members”.

“Under this initiative, life certificates of retired members are being collected on the spot and entered into the system immediately. For those unable to visit the bank, officials will visit their homes to collect the certificates,” Pandey said.
