Maharshi Dayanand University (MDU) Vice-Chancellor Prof Rajbir Singh today formally inaugurated the 350th gas connection of piped natural gas (PNG) line installed by Bharat Gas in a university flat. On this occasion, Registrar Dr Krishan Kant and Bharat Gas officials were present.

Addressing the gathering, the Vice-Chancellor (VC) said, “As a clean and convenient energy source, the PNG is becoming an integral part of the modern lifestyle. With this initiative, families living in the residential complex of the university will now get the facility of safe, environment friendly and convenient cooking gas.”

Bharat Gas officials said more than 350 connections had been successfully installed in the university so far and this process would continue in future as well, so that more and more people could get PNG facilities.
