More than 24 hours after the fatal shooting of JJP youth wing state secretary Ravinder Minna, the police are clueless and failed to arrest the suspect. Minna was killed, and two others, Vineet and Vinay, were injured in a shooting at a panchayat in Vikas Nagar on Friday night.

As per the police, the incident is connected to a matrimonial dispute involving Ranbir, a relative of Minna from Jagsi village. According to police reports, the dispute centered on Minna's sister-in-law, who was married to Ranbir's brother-in-law in Saharanpur. A panchayat was convened at a dairy in Vikas Nagar to resolve the conflict, during which Ranbir allegedly opened fire, fatally striking Minna in the forehead and injuring Vineet and Vinay.

Following the shooting, Superintendent of Police (SP) Lokender Singh, along with DSP Suresh Saini, police teams, and a Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) team, arrived at the scene to investigate. SP Singh formed five special teams to apprehend Ranbir, and raids are ongoing at various locations to nab the suspect.

JJP leaders, including Devender Kadyan and district president Ramniwas Patwari, gathered at the civil hospital mortuary during Minna's post-mortem examination. The body was later released to his family.
