A team of the Rohtak police have raided a hotel located in the Arya Nagar area here, and unearthed a flesh-trade racket operating there. The police nabbed four women and four men from the hotel, and recovered an amount of Rs 22,560. Rohtak ASP Pratik Agrawal said the raid had been conducted on the basis of a tip-off.

“A decoy customer was sent to the hotel. On getting a signal from him, the raid was conducted,” he said. All four men arrested during the raid were produced before a local court, which sent them to judicial custody. A case has been registered under the Immoral Traffic Prevention Act, 1956, and sections 143(2) and 144(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) in this regard.
