“The team started checking vehicles by putting up barricades near Kalanaur village (border of Haryana and Uttar Pradesh). After some time, the suspected man came on a motorcycle and fell in the police trap,” said Rajesh Kumar. The accused had stolen the motorcycle from a dhaba near the Yamunanagar railway station on September 19, adding that he had also stolen a motorcycle from Ganga Nagar Colony of Jagadhri on September 9.

He said 12 cases were already registered against the accused and these were going on in courts.
