Giving this information here today, Additional Director General of Police (Law and Order) Navdeep Singh Virk said that Haryana Police have made elaborate arrangements to ensure strict lockdown in the state.

The movement of migrant labourers has also been contained by persuading them to move to one of the 461 temporary shelters set up for their stay. Food is also being provided with the help of NGOs, social workers and local administration. Virk said all public activities except the essential and emergency services were banned.
