Claiming that a dedicated security plan was on anvil, he said notable additions, including the installation of 350 CCTV cameras, will boost security at the ‘Mela’ complex. Detailed instructions have been provided to departments concerned on issues such as parking arrangements within the fairgrounds.

With additional dispensaries, ambulances would be on duty across the different sectors. Mobile ATMs and foreign currency exchange services would also be made available at the fair, which would remain open between 10 am and 8 pm for the 17 days.
