The Haryana Real Estate Regulatory Authority (HARERA), Gurugram, has imposed penalties totalling Rs 1.25 crore on two promoters for violations under the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016.

M/s Vatika Ltd has been penalised Rs 1 crore for failing to register the ongoing project, ‘Vatika India Next Phase-II’, within the stipulated timeframe, contravening Section 3(1) of the Act.

Godrej Developers & Properties LLP has been fined Rs 25 lakh for not completing the ‘Godrej Air Phase-2’ project within the declared timelines, in violation of Section 4 (2)(l)(C).

These actions follow non-compliance with mandatory registration requirements and failure to deliver projects as per the committed schedule.
