Farmers protesting at the Khatkar toll plaza against the three farm laws got themselves vaccinated here today.

Azad Singh Palwan, BKU district chief, said: “We urge farmers to cooperate with the Health Department for the vaccination.” “Some rumour-mongers are spreading false propaganda that farmers are against the vaccination drive. No farmer is against it.”

Palwan hit out at the ruling leadership for contesting elections and making laws to snatch the land of farmers.

A medical officer at the Civil Hospital said a camp was held at the toll plaza and all protesters were jabbed. — TNS
