The Dharmashala has been built at a cost of Rs 25 lakhs. The minister said, “I congratulate you on the inauguration of this beautifully constructed dharmashala. I want my city’s people to have all essential amenities, and I have spent my entire life working towards that.”

He shared that in addition to Chanderpuri, dharamshalas had also been built in Shahpur, Machhonda and other locations, ensuring that citizens could comfortably host both family and social events. All these dharamshalas were equipped with modern facilities.

Vij said, “City bus services have already been introduced in Chanderpuri, Boh and Babyal, and soon bus queue shelters will also be set up in all these locations. These shelters will also be equipped with fans, so that the people don’t have to wait in the heat for buses.”

On the occasion, the minister criticised the property dealers who sold homes to the people but failed to provide facilities, and added that he would hold them accountable.

Anil Vij announced a grant of Rs 20 lakhs for the Shiv-Parvati Dharamshala so that a hall could also be constructed. He said the dharamshala would greatly benefit the community by enabling them to host various social and family functions conveniently.
