The Chief Minister’s flying squad along with the local police and drug control authority today conducted a joint raid at a restaurant in Sector 7 along the NH-44, where flavoured hookahs were allegedly being served.

DSP Ajit Singh confirmed the raid and said hookahs were being served to customers and a sum of Rs 3,000 was being charged per hookah.

The team members recovered 20 types of hookahs with prohibited nicotine. “An investigation is under way and FIR will be registered,” the DSP said.
