A 20-year-old girl reportedly hanged herself in a hotel room in the city on Tuesday. The deceased had been identified as Nikita, a resident of Rajasthan.
The incident was reported at noon when hotel employees found the room bolted inside. They knocked at the door multiple times, but she did not respond. Sensing the gravity of the situation, they called the police. The door was broke open in the presence of the police and Nikita was found dead inside.

Inspector Seema, SHO, City Police Station, said the girl was found hanging in the room. “The family members have been informed and further investigation into the matter is underway,” she added.
